How do I set up the 3G mobile network connection?

Here is a brief list of steps. You can read the details for each of these steps on this page.

1. Buy a "TELSTRA PRE-PAID SIM STARTER KIT FOR TABLETS" - it must be with Telstra and it must be a data SIM. Keep the packaging.
2. Activate the SIM with Telstra (either via the Telstra web page for activating SIM cards - choose the "Pre-paid" option - or by phoning Telstra on 132200]. You will need Australian ID and the service number located on your pre-paid packaging.
3. Add funds to your new pre-paid account (either via the Telstra web page for recharging your pre-paid account or by purchasing a top-up from a retail outlet.
4. Put the SIM in the camera.
5. Download and run the UOVision setup tool on a Windows computer to define your mobile settings. The tool will create a file named profile.bin.
6. Copy the profile.bin file from the setup tool onto your SD card (not your SIM card).
7. Put the SIM card into the camera and turn it on.
8. Wait for the camera to apply the settings from the SD card.
9. Continue waiting while the camera establishes a network connection.

Your camera will then be ready to send to the 3G mobile network per the configuration you defined using the setup tool.
